Senoia

I have a lot of blog posts in my head but some how they never make it to the computer! We went to the Senoia Christmas parade last weekend. Lucy got to ride a pony and drink hot chocolate. I made the mistake of telling Lucy it was called hot chocolate the first time I gave it to her. I sat it on the counter and let it cool for about 20 minutes first, she took a sip, made a funny face, and threw the coco all over the floor and said, "momma it's not hot." The wet/dry vac came out that evening :) The parade was kinda disappointing and the highlight was Miss Senoia going by dressed in a yellow gown the girls thought she was Belle.

Merry and Bright

Imagine three bars, small children, lots of adults who have had too much to drink, and strollers.... Do you have that picture in your head? That is what The Atlanta Botanical Garden's Christmas celebration was like. We still managed to have a good time as crazy as it was. Lucy and Evelyn loved the edible garden sculptures, the choo-choo train, and the lights. Papa did not like having to steer the wagon though all the intoxicated people. I don't think it will be on our list for next year.

Not so thrilled about the wagon.

No more pictures!

Happy Thanksgiving!

My brother and sister-in-law hosted Thanksgiving at their new house. We had a relaxing day with all 3 girls! We ate lunch beforeAndy headed into work. The whole day was a blur because, mom, Tiffany, Amara and I left for Black Friday shopping around 7pm and I did not return till 7pm the next night :) I got a lot of shopping done for Lucy and myself, I need to because I started a new full time job this Monday. I have not seen daylight since Monday and have been in training from sun up to sun down and will continue for the next four weeks. This momma is tired.

Baking Cookies

Lucy loves to paint, Mommy loves cookies; So I combined the two this evening and let Lucy make some cookies. All you do is take egg whites and mix food color in with them,  prepackaged sugar cookies and you have 10 to 15 minutes of an occupied toddler. If you notice Lucy's outfit, she won't take the thing off. We come home from anywhere right now and she brings me this dress, normally she has on her sparkly pink shoes Muv brought back from Japan with it.

Meet Baby Stella

We have been waiting and waiting for My sister-in-law to give birth to the newest Yurgionas, meet Stella Irene Yurgionas.

The girls were so great waiting in the lobby for baby Stella to "arrive". They played with sticker books, looked at the fish in the lobby, played dolls, and ate candy.

Everyone is smitten with sweet baby Stella.

Calling Uncle Brian!

Uncle Brian turned 31 this week, but he lives all the way in San Fransisco so we could not physically be with him on his birthday. We let the girls decorate a cake, we called him and sang happy birthday, and had taco's for dinner in his honor. We sent him a video of the festivities :) It was a good family night even if it was minus the guest of honor.

My love to you

Yesterday was the first time Lucy told me she loved me without me having to say I love you first. She gets the sentence a little mixed up and says "My love to you Momma" but it totally made this Mommy's day. We were sitting on the couch watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she put her little arms around my neck... Oh how I love that little girl!

This is Halloween!

Tinkerfly had a great time going house to house trick-o treeting. All the Mommy's followed in the golf cart and the girls and daddy's went house to house. Lucy jumped on the golf cart for a candy break and came back to me eating her candy :) she took my mouth and tried to open it, saying, "you eat my candy?!!!" Marmee and Tiffany just laughed and laughed. The neighborhood we go to has wonderful decorations and Lucy loved the blowup Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. I asked her what her favorite part was this morning and she said, "did you hear it (hand to ear), did you see it mommy, Tigger said GRAAAR".

Our First School Party!

What are you going to say to your friends today Lucy, (In a deep growly voice) "Happy Hall-o-ween". Today is Lucy's very first school party she was so excited last night! She (and Aunt Timmy, Marmee and Momma) made treats for all of her friends for school today. I bought .30 orange bags at Walmart and cut out pumpkin faces from black felt; we filled the bags with a cute little pumpkin in the cup game and candy corn rice crispy treats. She was so proud of them this morning and insisted upon helping daddy carry them in. This is the first of many to come!

Disney on Ice

After a busy morning at the Rock Ranch we rode home to get ready for Disney on Ice in Downtown Atlanta. Lucy took a long nap on the ride home and was in great spirits when we got there. She picked out her outfit, Snow White of course, and off we went to Marmee and Poppa's to get Evelyn, Marmee and Aunt Timmy. The girls enjoyed watching the show; The Princess and the Frog, Tangled and Cinderella were all featured on skates. Lucy loved that there was no one sitting next to us so she could dance :) Marmee was smart after Disney live and got light up spinners, cool princess light up cups and cotton candy before we left town at a fraction of the cost of what we would of paid inside. I think the parents in the row in front of us were more entertained by my crazy child than the actual show; she just danced and danced to the music.

Pumpkin Patch at the Ranch

Lucy has completed most of her list of must do's for this fall; we have ridden ponies, picked out pumpkins, rode a choo choo, all that's left is eat candy (aka trick or treat). On Saturday we had a very busy day. We spent the morning at the Chickfila Rock Ranch. Lucy loved the corn house, tiny town, and jumping pillow.  I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

Still Celebrating Fall

Lucy had a lot of fun this Fall doing so many things. My neice Evelyn had a festival at her school and we helped bake cakes for the bake sale and Lucy was so excited to attend Friday night. She rode more ponies, jumped for at least an hour in the bounce house and got to hang out with her best bud Evelyn. Towards the end of the night she kept asking to get into the big kid "balloon ride". There was no height restriction so I thought "what the hey!" Evelyn and Lucy got in, and I thought my mom would have a heart attack, she kept saying they're choking!!! She was a nervous wreck, I knew they were just fine when they started waving at me!

Cotton Candy and the Waffle House

Disney Live and the Waffle House does it get any better? If your two I think not! Friday we took the girls to see Disney Live in Macon. The girls were in love. We had sausage and egg before the show at the Waffle House which has became the girls favorite meal. We headed to the Macon Centerplex to hear Mickey tell three princess stories. I think the highlight was Snow White, well with the show... I think the real highlight was the cotton candy. Lucy loves Beauty and the Beast and the Gaston song, Marmee could hardly contain her.
