The sun will come out tommorow

So I am finally getting my sea legs at work. The first two weeks I kept thinking to myself, WHAT HAVE I GOTTEN MY SELF INTO, I can't do this!!!! Almost two months have passed and I am happy to say I no longer feel like that everyday. It's a stressful job but I like it, and we are happy to have our flight benefits back.
Well on to a few things little miss has been up to. We went and saw Annie and the Fox, Lucy Lu loved it!!!!! The people in front of us might not of loved it as much, because Lucy sang and the top of her lungs when songs came on that she knew. We ate dinner before at the Varsity and Lucy ordered her favorite food right now hot dogs.
This next week we are going to Disney world for my 30th birthday but I promise to start posting more.

Snow Day

The day after Christmas we all went to Snow Mountain for a rare snow day in Georgia. Lucy was an inch to short to ride the "big girl" rides when we arrived, but miraculously grew an inch when we went to stand in line for them :) I don't know how that happened (the lady measuring at the ride was very nice, and said she was old enough, just small for her age and let her on) Lucy had so much fun, the smile would not come off her face. We went down the hill on the sleds, roasted marshmallows, made snow angles and enjoyed some family time. She is my little dare devil!

A Rapunzel Christmas

Lucy really got it this year, which really made Christmas so much fun. All season long all she asked for was a beautiful Rapunzel dress. The look on her face when she saw the living room Christmas morning was priceless, she said "for me, REALLY!" She wanted everything out of the box as soon as she opened it. Any jokes it was the year of dressup.

The Book

Every Christmas Eve Lucy and Andy share a special book. This book only comes off the shelf on this very special night.  Lucy really got it this year and it took about an hour for daddy to get through it all.

Lucy's First Christmas

This year

The Night Before Christmas

Twas the night before Christmas and we were baking throughout the house... After church we baked cookies with Muv (thank you Marmee for making the cookie dough and baking kit for this busy momma) and wrote Santa a thank you note for all the presents he would be leaving a VERY good little girl. Lucy did not forget the apple; because reindeer eat apples, not carrots.  Lucy informed me "carrots are for bunnies."

Christmas in Peachtree

The Friday before Christmas we took Lucy to downtown Atlanta's Christmas on Peachtree it really was not as big as we had expected but Lucy enjoyed seeing Santa. Afterwards we took her to watch the ice skating in Centennial park. She got her face painted and entertained everyone with her booty shakin :) but I think her faviorte part was the rockwall at 2 years old she really is my little monkey.

Senoia

I have a lot of blog posts in my head but some how they never make it to the computer! We went to the Senoia Christmas parade last weekend. Lucy got to ride a pony and drink hot chocolate. I made the mistake of telling Lucy it was called hot chocolate the first time I gave it to her. I sat it on the counter and let it cool for about 20 minutes first, she took a sip, made a funny face, and threw the coco all over the floor and said, "momma it's not hot." The wet/dry vac came out that evening :) The parade was kinda disappointing and the highlight was Miss Senoia going by dressed in a yellow gown the girls thought she was Belle.
