County Fair

Last weekend we took little bit to the Coweta County Fair. I think she has been dreaming about it because every morning this week the first words out of her mouth are, "I go to fair, I ride tiger, I eat cotton candy?" She is so very expressive and the little faces she makes are priceless, she can tell whole stories with one look.

She loves to go fast and the tiger and elephant flying ride were her favorite she rode it a lot, and she roared at us every time the ride came around. She had such a great time she talked Marmee into taking her back on Wednesday night with Evelyn for some more cotton candy. I think the pictures say it all.

PS. I passed :)

Mo Joe

I have been in a rut lately. Since starting school I'm lucky to fix something other than cereal for dinner. Have I mentioned I only have a week and a half of school left :) Today was a great day, and I feel like I accomplished something other than learning how aerodynamics works! I decorated the front of the house for fall (it still needs leaves on the grapevine, a mum in the pot at the door and I need to find my front door wreath) but all in all I am SO happy with how it turned out! I also made cupcakes for my sweet friend Ashley for her birthday (red velvet and vanilla with carmel frosting). Thanks mom and Tiffany for coming over and motivating me. Now if everyone out there could say a prayer that this week goes by like today did and an airline thinks I'm great for the job!

Fall is in the air

A few weeks ago we took Lucy to the start of Fair season: Powers Crossroad, since then we have been to the Yellow Daisy festival and have two more in the next two weeks. Lucy still loves to get her face painted and ride the horses. Daddy loves to eat and mommy loves to shop. So it is a win, win for everyone.

ATP Take That!

Well I passed the first part of my exams today, the airline transport pilot test! My heart always skips a beat when I press submit on a government test; but there it was, in big red letters... passed. I will take the oral boards in  two weeks and then I will be a certified dispatcher. I can't wait to go back to work for the airlines.
On Sunday Andy and Lucy went to a birthday party in north Atlanta and I had to stay home and study. Lucy Loves her papa and had a great time.
I have not been giving Lucy the attention she needs so I am off to have a tea party with my sweet girl!

Let's Pretend

Lucy has developed a big imagination lately and loves to play doggy, she even gives puppy kisses by coming up and licking you. She has perfected the sit, speak, down, and roll over tricks; she will even do it with out getting a treat now :) She is at such a fun age!

Movie Night

Family time has been far and few between lately, so on Sunday night we try to do something fun together. The past two weeks we have gotten Lucy into the bath at her normal time and told her she could stay up and watch a movie with mommy and daddy. Saying movie and no bed are like saying you won a million dollars to my 2 year old. We have watched Rio and Rango on blankets in the livingroom and enjoyed some very precious family time.
