A little picnic a lot of water

Wednesday night we had a family picnic at Line Creek nature area with Uncle Brian (he is done with school and we all go up to St. Louis next week for graduation from medical school!). Lucy proved fearless when she brought down both poppa and mom because she walked so fast into the water we could not keep up! There was little eating done by either of the girls they were too excited to get into the water, however my mom made yummy crab salad, water melon, chips, cute little ham sandwiches and cherry turnovers. Lucy wanted nothing to do with holding hands in the water she kept saying "hey, hey, hey" she has become Little Miss independent.
