Pre Trip Report

I feel like I am on mouseplanet.com. I am going to write down our plans for the trip and when we come back we shall see if it really works out that way. Who am I kidding, I know this is just a guideline I have an 18m old.  I will start off with the travel group. If you read my blog often you know the cast of characters.

Me, Sarah. 28, Stay at home mom.
Andy, 31 (or he will be on Christmas day) My husband, Police Officer.
Lucy, 18m, Princess.
Marmee, (the youngest grandma there is :) My mom.
Poppa, (young at heart) My dad. Owns a Machine Business.
Muv, (super young) Andy's mom
Adam, 35 (birthday is also Christmas day) My oldest brother, High School History teacher.
Tiffany, 30, Adam's wife, Stay at home mommy.
Evelyn, 3, Princess.
Brian, 30, Middle brother, Medical student.
Poppa at the Beach, Tiffany's dad (will be with us for 3 days in the middle of the trip)
Nini at the Beach, Tiffany's step mom.

So that is all twelve of us.

We are taking three cars down. Andy and I plan on leaving at 6am and spending the afternoon at Downtown Disney on Saturday the 18th. We have rented two cheap hotel rooms for the night and we will pick up Andy's mom at the airport around 9pm. We will try to go to bed early because our first day is at Magic Kingdom! Our plan is to check into the hotel around 7am and take the hotel bus to Magic Kingdom by 8am.  We are staying in a three bedroom Tree House at Saratoga Springs. We have lunch reservations at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and dinner at Whispering Canyon that night. We have decided not to do Mickey Very Merry Christmas Party, it's the last night, and we figured since we have two days at each park we would put the girls to bed early.

Day 2 is Epcot, we have breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Hotel and then we will head over to Epcot by monorail and spend the day there. That evening we have dinner reservations at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. I am superexcited about this meal because Lucy is going as Cinderella.

Day 3 is the Animal Kingdom. Tiffany's dad and step mom join us today. We start off with breakfast at 1900 Parkfare at the Grand Floridian Hotel. We are going to take a bus from there over to Animal Kingdom to spend the day. We have dinner reservations at Jiko that night.

Day 4 is Magic Kingdom again. I have scheduled Lucy's first hair cut at 10:30 on Main Street, but I'm not sure if I will keep the appointment because the poor thing doesn't have a lot of hair to begin with! We have 11:30 lunch reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table, Lucy is going as Snow White!!!! We have dinner reservations at the California Grill at 8pm and we will hopefully catch the fireworks. I am thinking about getting an in room babysitter for Lucy as this dinner will be way past her bedtime.

Day 5 is Hollywood Studio's. Lunch is at the 50's Prime Time (better eat our vegetables!). Tiffany's dad and step mom will depart after lunch. I am sooo excited about Lucy seeing Play House Disney Live on Stage!!!! We will leave the park a little early because dinner is at Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Day 6 is Christmas Eve and Hollywood Studio's again (that's just how it worked out). We have a full day of eating. Breakfast is with the characters at Cape May Cafe, Lunch is at the Sci Fi Drive In and Christmas Eve dinner is at the Brown Derby. (I see my pants not fitting by day 8).

Day 7 Christmas Day! Epcot and Andy and Adam's birthday. We plan to get to the park early, they fill up quick (we went to Epcot on Christmas Eve in 2009 and it did not seem as crowded as other parks). Lunch is at Le Cellier and dinner is the Candle Light Processional dinner with Biergarten.

Day 8 our last day :( is at the Animal Kingdom. We have Donald's Safari Breakfast
at Tusker House
, I think everyone will split up during the day and either stay at Animal Kingdom or go to their favorite park. We will all meet up again for a late last dinner with the princesses at 1900 Park Fare once again. That night we are staying at another cheap hotel and will all leave for home in the morning.

I am so very excited about this trip!!!! We booked it around Christmas last year, and I have been buying little special things for Lucy since then  (the amount of Disney stuff on my dinning room table is crazy!) Lucy has a special outfit for each day, in fact I just finished sewing ric rack trim on a shirt today. Andy has even gotten into the spirt and let me make a few matching shirts for us :) December 18th please hurry up!!!!!!!!

You'll have so much fun! The weather was warm, low 80s, our first 2 days there. It then went cool to the high 60s. It was random. I've heard it's very cold there this week. I can't wait to hear how much fun it is!
